What is it useful for?

Mega Manectric is a very powerful Electric type raid attacker. And while outclassed by many other Pokémon, regular non-mega Manectric is also a decent raid attacker. When using either form in raids, the best moveset to use is Thunder Fang + Wild Charge.

Neither Manectric nor Mega Manectric is useful in PvP.

How many players do I need?

You should have at least 2 players in your group when raiding Mega Manectric.

What counters should I use?

Mega Manectric is an Electric type Pokémon that is weak to Ground type attacks.

If you want a Mega Pokémon that will give you extra candy, simply use Mega Ampharos, Mega Manectric, or Primal Kyogre and don’t put it on your team. There are currently no Electric type Mega Pokémon that can do a lot of damage to Mega Manectric.
