Genesect is useful in raids as a Bug type attacker and a Steel type attacker. Its best moveset in these roles is Fury Cutter + X-Scissor and Metal Claw + Magnet Bomb, respectively.
While not top-tier, Genesect (Burn Drive) is decent in Master League. It is the 2nd best Genesect form in Master League, outclassed only by the Chill Drive form. Genesect (Burn Drive)’s best moveset in Master League is Fury Cutter + Magnet Bomb / Techno Blast*.

How many players do I need?
Genesect can be defeated by 2 strong players, however, in general you should aim to have 3-4 players in your group.
What counters should I use?
Genesect is a Bug Steel type Pokémon that is double weak to Fire type attacks.

If you want a Mega Pokémon that will give you extra candy, simply use any Bug or Steel type Mega Pokémon (or Primal Kyogre) and don’t put it on your team. There are currently no Bug or Steel type Mega Pokémon that can do a lot of damage to Genesect.
