Gameplay Recommendations
- To get extra candy and XL candy, use Mega Abomasnow, Mega Rayquaza, Mega Salamence, or Mega Sceptile, depending on what you need most.
- Hoppip, Fletchling, Sprigatito, Fuecoco, Quaxly, and Frigibax either have had or will likely have a community day. If you catch one with super good IVs, consider holding off on evolving it until there is an event where you can get its community day move.
- Use lots of Star Pieces to take full advantage of the 4x catch stardust bonus. With a Star Piece running, you’ll get at least 600 stardust per catch!
- To maximize the XP you get from catching Pokémon, use a Lucky Egg and try to make as many excellent throws as possible. With the 4x catch XP bonus and a Lucky Egg, you can get over 8000 XP for each Pokémon caught with an excellent throw!
